Ohm Sweet Ohm

More on excellence.

Sure you have heard about the Internet Of Things. Let's have a brief look at what is behind, and let me share with you a kind invitation I have received into my corporate email today.

As an acronym IoT is a supposed novelty -- you now what marketing is --  that in fact, is not so novel for you and me.

To be effective, IoT is build upon radio frequencies.  RFID has been around us, filling our lives and serving us for more than a decade. Behind the RFID tech there is a legion of unknown heroes.

So you probably are one of these heroes. A scientist or developer who has been practising and testing a solution for sure will enhance the World in we are living with your team.

You, as a hero, know and are familiar with the concept that RFID is 15-20 times faster than manual and barcode processes for inventorying IT assets.

As a modern hero,  manufacturing, logistics, Health-care or Retail are your subjects of personal passion. If, yes, then be recognized as an RFID leader.

The 11th annual RFID Journal Awards will recognize businesses that have distinguished themselves by their successful use of RFID technologies.

Is your solution scalable, acceptable to the employees affected, and economically feasible? Meet the judges
For the purposes of this award, RFID technology will be defined as any system that uses radio waves to remotely identify an object or person.

These systems include, but are not limited to, low-frequency (HF) systems, high-frequency (HF) systems, Near-Field Communication (NFC), ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) systems, active RFID systems, Wi-Fi-based systems, real-time locating systems (RTLS), and RF-sensory mesh networks. They can be based on air-interface protocol standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) or other standards bodies, such as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Morse code signals spelling out "R-A-D-I-O-A-C-T-I-V-I-T-Y" are also present, near the beginning of the track, and again near the end. Play the game. Welcome to the modern world

Do not be shy, dearest reader of this, your, blog. Enter The RFID Journal Awards, no later than midnight on Feb. 17, 2017
